Breathe

You are a guest at our table.

During the evenings event you are invited to sample a small selection of wine – to compliment your hosts. You will also have the potential to meet six new people as you circulate the nine tables.

Entering a room with 15 plus strangers, may seem daunting, but it need not be… just remember smile confidently – everyone has something worth knowing.

Physical Description:

This performance uses the format of speed dating whereby the audience move every three minutes to a new table (meeting 6 people in total). There is a circle of nine tables set for two. Over the course of the evening a variety of wine will be offered at each table. The hosts interupt the event with their performance interludes. The performance lasts approx. 45mins.

This performance was developed as part of Breathe’s Arts Council funding for Research and Development. During this time Breathe has worked in conjunction with Colchester Arts Centre and Battersea Arts Centre and have received mentoring from Leslie Hill, Curious and Sarah Thom, Gob Squad. This performance was also created with advice from Alya Suveren (Arts Producer).
